A 27-year-old man will be sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on November 28 for helping a teenager who escaped from a young offender institution.
James Baker, of Ferriby Close, Fagley, Bradford, was due to stand trial yesterday accused of assisting Jack Junior McLoughlin who had escaped from Wetherby Young Offender Institution.
Prosecutor Charlotte Eastwood said the Crown would accept Baker’s plea of guilty to perverting the course of public justice, between April 1 and 6, 2012, by providing assistance to McLoughlin, then 18, who intended to escape from lawful custody.
