Police at the accident scene tonight
A male pedestrian in his 40s has suffered serious head injuries in an accident with a car in Manningham Lane near the junction with Oak Lane, Bradford.
Police have closed the road while they deal with the incident, which occurred at 5.30pm today and involved a silver Volkswagen Polo.
The injured man has been taken by ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary, said a West Yorkshire Police spokesman.
