Brutal thugs punched two Bingley brothers to the floor during an unprovoked attack outside a cash point in the early hours of the morning.
One of the victims was rushed to hospital after paramedics found him slumped in a pool of blood caused by face wounds.
The attack happened on Saturday at a cash machine beside Locks late-night bar.
One of the victims, a factory worker aged 21, who has asked not to be named, said: “We had been drinking at a another pub in town on what was a rare night out together and were just getting some cash out to go into Locks.
“It was about 2.40am and the last thing I remember was standing in front of the cash machine. The next thing I was coming round in a pool of blood on the pavement.
“I remember opening my eyes and seeing a lot of blood. My face felt all cold and fuzzy and my legs wouldn’t work properly.
“And my brother was knocked to the floor beside me.”
A witness said two burly men were passing the brothers when suddenly they lashed out, punching the younger on the left side of his face before setting on the other victim.
The younger brother said: “I couldn’t stand and had to be carried into an ambulance which took me to Airedale Hospital.
“I had a big gash on my forehead, a heavy graze on my cheek and under my nose from hitting the ground and a black eye.
“My brother, who’s a couple of years older than me, also had a bad black eye and I’m still on a lot of painkillers.
“The thing was there was no reason to it – we’d not had trouble off anyone earlier. These blokes just attacked us, then kept on walking down the road towards the Jet petrol station.”
Police have interviewed both brothers about the incident and will also study CCTV.
Witnesses or those with information can call 101.
