Firefighters to walk out for fourth time
Firefighters today announced that a fourth strike will take place between 10am and 2pm on Wednesday, November 13 in England and Wales.
The announcement comes just days after Bradford firefighters joined a national walkout on Sunday over pensions.
Next week's strike action is part of an ongoing trade dispute between the FBU and the Government over its public sector pension reform programme including plans to introduce a new Firefighters' Pension Scheme from April 2015.
In addition the Fire Brigades Union announced the start of a further ballot for other forms of industrial action, which will close tomorrow.
