Detectives were last night continuing to question a Bradford man in connection with death of a man following a house party in Leeds.
The 20-year-old, of Wibsey, was arrested on suspicion of murder after the 30-year-old victim was found in Brudenell Road, Hyde Park, with severe head injuries at about 8.45am on Sunday. He was taken to hospital where he later died.
Of the ten people who were arrested in connection with the incident, the 20-year-old man is the only one who remains in custody. Six others have been released without charge and three have been bailed pending further inquiries.
Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team via the non-emergency number 101. Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
