A Chelsea Pensioner will lay a wreath at an M62 army medical services monument to commemorate national remembrance weekend on Friday.
Denis Shiels will leave the poppy wreath at the base of the memorial, which pays tribute to the Royal Army Medical, Nursing, Dental and Veterinary Corps, at Hartshead Moor Services at 11am.
Other war veterans will be present accom-panied by a standard bearer.
