A motorist, whose car was damaged when a hit and run driver reversed into him, has released CCTV images of a suspect.
Zahir Majid, 37, is also offering a £100 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the culprit.
Mr Majid, an employment support worker, said the rogue driver needed to be found before somebody was injured.
Mr Majid, of Folkestone Street, Bradford Moor, Bradford, decided to release the CCTV footage after becoming frustrated at the police response to the accident.
The incident took place as Mr Majid was turning right into Silverhill Road from Fagley Road in Bradford Moor, at 6.15pm on Thursday, October 24.
He said a black saloon car, similar to a Ford Focus, which had been parked outside a shop, reversed into the side of his Toyota Avensis, damaging the driver and offside passenger doors, and was then driven off. He was not injured.
Mr Majid said a garage had quoted him £1,800 to repair the damage.
The driver, a bearded Asian man in his 20s or 30s, was captured on CCTV going into the shop and leaving it. The accident was also caught on film.
Mr Majid, a father-of-three, said: “I want him brought to justice for the safety of other people. I want the police to do more and try to find him. I have got a clear image of this man, but the police won’t do anything.”
Mr Majid said he got a partial registration of the car, AK 51, but did not get all of it because he was in shock after the accident.
“I expected the other driver to park up, but after five seconds he put his foot down and zoomed off.”
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said:“The footage was brought to the public enquiry counter at 6.51pm on Friday, October 25. The staff member spoke to the gentleman and established that the footage was partially distorted and did not show the car registration number needed by officers to search for the vehicle on police systems.
“We are now pursuing other avenues to retrieve material which may assist in the investigation.
“If anyone can help to identify the suspect shown in the video, we would urge them to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
