A woman whose baby was saved by neo-natal staff at Bradford Royal Infirmary has raised £346 as a thank-you to the unit.
Jodie Dawn’s son Riley was born weighing 9lbs 2oz and because of breathing problems was rushed to the neo-natal unit where he stayed for a week.
He was so tiny but was eventually diagnosed as having a severe chest infection and was treated with antibiotics.
Four years on, Miss Dawn, of Bessingham Gardens, Buttershaw, organised a Ladies Night at Wibsey Working Men’s Club.
