Zebra crossing safety work in Otley
A zebra crossing which has been the scene of a number of near-misses is to be made safer.
The crossing, on one of Otley’s busiest roads, will become signal controlled in December. The work, at Cross Green, is one of a number of improvements around the town being funded as part of the Garnetts development. Councillor Colin Campbell said that it had become well used since the opening of the town’s new Netto store.
