Appeal after walkers find injured dog
Teconnex Ltd in Keighley took part in a charity walk in the Yorkshire Dales helped rescue a stricken dog was taken to safety after coming across the injured animal.
The group, participating in the trek in memory of a colleague who had died of a heart attack, found the emaciated Saluki cross on Buckden Pike, not far from the Polish war memorial.
An appeal has been launched to pay for its vets' bill. Anyone wanting to donate should log onto bit.ly/Hga7Lm or send a cheque to The Dog People Sandy Mount, Woodside, Grassington, BD23 5NE.
