A new pop-up art gallery and printshop allows visitors to “smell print, buy print, make print and talk print”.
The unique gallery, called Derdlab, can be found at Craven Court shopping centre, in Skipton. It has been inspired by Brian Aldred, who would be over the moon to know his passion for print is being shared with so many visitors. Over his lifetime, he amassed a great collection of equipment for printing which traces the history of the development of print. The pop-up gallery has been set up in collaboration with Oldfield Press of Haworth And it has brought together printmakers who use the old methods.
