Tickets are still available for the 67th Bradford Festival of Remembrance at St George’s Hall on Sunday.
The concert, hosted by Bradford Theatres in conjunction with the city council, will be compered by Bradford-born actor Duncan Preston.
A variety of local acts will be featured, including The City of Bradford Brass Band, the Steeton Male Voice and Clayton CofE Primary School Choirs, the Spotlight Stage School and musical duo ISSIMO.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Khadim Hussain, said: “It is greatly meaningful to come together as a community and to focus on the enormous debt of gratitude we owe to all those who fought in two world wars, and many more recent conflicts, in pursuit of peace and justice."
Tickets for the concert, which starts at 5pm, cost £7 for adults, £5 for over-60’s and £2 for under-16’s. Groups of more than ten people get one ticket free.
