Branwell House Social Club host 1940s-themed charity evening
A 1940s charity evening has been organised on Saturday at Branwell House Social Club to raise funds for the Thornton British Legion and the Poppy Appeal. There will be raffles, auctions and entertainment by Natasha Harper. The evening starts at 7pm and admission is by donation on the door. Call (01274) 833794 after 1pm.
