Talk on the Land Army
An insight into the lives of women in the Land Army will be given in an Aireborough Historical Society event.
Women’s Land Army re-enactor Carol Davies will dress the part for her talk on November 14.
She is basing the talk on the personal memories of her mum, who was in the Land Army, and on the memories of her friends.
The talk will take place at Guiseley Methodist Church, Orchard Way, Oxford Road. Doors open at 7pm and the talk starts at 7.30pm.
