Pedestrian taken to hospital with head injuries after Silsden collision
A serious traffic accident involving an elderly pedestrian and a vehicle today blocked the centre of Silsden while police investigated the incident in Kirkgate.
“Police were called to a serious road traffic collision at 12.21pm ivolving a vehicle and an elderly pedestrian who suffered head injuries and was taken to Airedale Hospital for treatment.
“The road has been closed and traffic is being diverted,” a West Yorks police spokesman said.
The accident happened between the Clog Bridge and Briggate junctions on the A6034.
