Wendy Cubie, the new co-ordinator for Ilkley shop assist scheme
A former textile technologist has become the new co-ordinator of a scheme which provides help for older and infirm residents do their weekly shop.
Ilkley resident Wendy Cubie, who recently retired from the textile industry, has taken on the role of co-ordinator for Ilkley and District Good Neighbours’ Shop Assist scheme.
She said: "If you, or anyone you know, are having difficulty shopping please do get in touch.
“I am in the office on Tuesday mornings but a message can be left for me any time on (01943) 603348 or by e-mail info@shopassist.co.uk."
