Firefighters in Bradford are set to stage another walk out as part of a strike.
The Fire Brigades Union (FBU) has announced its members would strike between 6.30pm and 11pm on Friday, and from 6am to 8am on Monday.
The union is fighting plans to increase employee pensions contributions and impose a pension age of 60. Currently the age is 55, but firefighters can retire earlier if they have 25 years’ service.
A four-hour walk out was held in September. Chief Fire Officer Simon Pilling (pictured) warned the strikes were taking place during the busy pre-Bonfire Night period and added: “We are asking members of the public to be extra vigilant.”
