Police are appealing for witnesses after a 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted after getting off a bus in Shipley.
The woman had just left the 662 Keighley and District bus in Bradford Road at about 6pm on Sunday and was walking along Beamsley Road close to the junction of Granville Road, when a man approached her from the back.
He grabbed her clothing below her waist line causing her to scream, then he ran off towards Granville Road.
The suspect is described as an Asian male, in his early 20s, around 5ft 8 ins tall, of slim build and clean shaven. He was wearing a bright red zip-up hooded top with two white stripes down each sleeve.
He was also wearing a dark grey woollen tracksuit bottoms.
He is believed to have been travelling on the same bus. Anyone who was travelling on the bus or who has information about this incident should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
