Planning permission has been granted for a catheter laboratory on part of a former car park at Bradford Royal Infirmary. The site of the development includes land to the Duckworth Lane frontage of BRI that was laid out as car parking but is currently occupied by temporary buildings.
Bradford Council has now granted full permission for the erection of a new, single-storey, Catheter Laboratory. It will act as an extension to the existing ward.
A Council planning report said: “The proposed block has a functional design and appearance but is clearly contemporary and thus allows the original form of the hospital to be understood.”
