Pollution in the beck running through Haworth has reduced dramatically over the past 20 years, say schoolchildren.
Pupils at Haworth Primary School made the discovery when they returned to study Bridgehouse Beck after two decades. But they decided work was still needed to reduce pollution after finding items of rubbish in and around the water.
Pupil Kitty Ballantine said she was surprised that in a short walk her class found 20 pieces of rubbish.
