Organisers of a mosque open day hope to build bridges between faiths and communities in Keighley.
The Jamia Masjid mosque in Emily Street, Lawkholme, will open on Wednesday, November 20, as part of Interfaith Week.
The organisers, Keighley Muslim Association, want to dispel myths and help people develop a better understanding of Islam.
The family event features free literature on Islam, a tour of the mosque, Islamic exhibitions, hand painting, Islamic calligraphy and Asian food.
The open day runs from noon until 7pm. Anyone wishing to go is asked to call Mohammed Saleem on 07737 022653 or e-mail mohammed_saleem_123.yahoo.com.
