The number of Bradford people working more than one job to supplement their income has increased by more than 97 per cent in a year, according to a new poll.
Online freelance marketplace PeoplePerHour found that three-in-five people are taking on extra work just to pay their heating bills or to cover the weekly food shop.
The figures also revealed that 76 per cent of moonlighters are so-called ‘five-to-niners’, working in the early evenings on top of their full-time nine-to-five day jobs, and more than half work weekends.
