Bradford District Care Trust is hosting a skill sharing course to support carers.
Entitled Looking After Me, it will provide carers with the opportunity to meet others in similar circumstances and learn skills to cope with their situation.
Jan Rhodes, Carers’ Support co-ordinator at Bradford District Care Trust, said: “As a carer there are many demands and it is important to focus on yourself occasionally.
“We hope our course gives carers the practical and emotional support they need to care safely and look after themselves.”
They will be held on Tuesday at the Age Concern Building in Bradford and on Thursday at the Kirkgate Centre in Shipley and will run weekly over six weeks, from 10am to 12.30pm.
All carers are welcome, but places are on a first come first served basis and you must book a place. To find out more, please call (01274) 323323 or visit bdct.nhs.uk.
