Youngsters involved in a project promoting understanding between people of various age groups, heritage and backgrounds are putting on a showcase tomorrow at the Alhambra Studio in Bradford.
The young performers are members of Aiming Higher, run by volunteers and artists who lead workshops in drama, song, dance and aerobics.
Supported by X-Plosion Cultural Arts, the project is aimed at building skills for education, training and employment as well as boosting confidence and self esteem.
Judy Peltier, of X-Plosion, a performing arts organisation in West Bowling, said: “This is the first time that X-Plosion has appeared at the Alhambra Studio.
“This will add to our experiences and help to increase the confidence of black and other minority ethnic communities.”
