A CCTV engineer has been found guilty at Bradford Crown Court of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy.
Nigel Delaney, 61, formerly of Emsley Close, Bierley, Bradford, was also found guilty accused of breaching a Sexual Offences Protection Order.
He denied the charges but today a jury found him guilty by a majority verdicts of 10-2 and 11-1 respectively.
Delaney was remanded in custody until November 21 when he will reappear at court for sentencing.
The jury heard the assault took place on July 10, 2012, when the teenager was working for him.
The victim, now 17, who cannot be identified, told the court Delaney had twice touched his thigh in a sexual manner, as well as indulging in lewd conversation with him.
Delaney, who denied sexually touching the boy, said he believed he had not breached the conditions of the order, which prevents him having contact with under 17-year-olds, because he had thought the boy was 17.
Judge Roger Thomas refused Delaney for bail pending next month’s sentencing hearing and said: “You are a devious and manipulative man. Everything I have seen and heard about you tells me that.”
