A band is marching with its head held high after coming second in an international competition.
Revolution Show Corps, of Queensbury, visited Cork from last Friday until Sunday as part of Cork Rebel Week, which is the highlight of the Cork Gathering event when the towns and districts of Cork embrace international visitors into the community.
The musicians competed against bands from Germany, France, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Ireland for the Best International Marching Band title.
