Councillors agreed to an application to increase the number of homes being built on one of Keighley’s biggest development sites.
A meeting of Bradford’s regulatory and appeals committee approved a proposal to build five additional houses, along with associated highways and landscaping works, on land at North Dean Avenue.
Planning permission has already been granted for residential development of 190 houses at the site.
Followingthe committee decision, the amended development plan should now feature a total of 195 homes.
The permission is subject to the developer funding a range of community contributions, including £60,000 for play equipment, £340,458 for education provision and additional payments for footpaths, a bus stop and traffic calming.
