A book sale proved a huge success at a supermarket.
Since fundraising champion Linda Guy started the scheme at Otley Sainsbury’s seven months ago it has raised £1,335 for Otley Action for Older People.
The table-top sale relies on staff and shoppers dropping off their finished or unwanted books which are then sold for 50p or £1, depending on their condition.
