Detectives investigating the death of a man who was shot and had acid sprayed over him in an attack at his Bradford home today arrested a man on suspicion of murder.
A 23-year-old Bradford man is being questioned by officers on suspicion of killing 50-year-old Barry Selby, who was attacked in a bedroom of his house in Rayleigh Street, East Bowling, in the early hours of Monday, October 14.
He is also being held on suspicion of firearm offences.
Another man, Lee Calvert, 22, will face a murder charge when he appears at Bradford Crown Court on November 1.
Calvert, of Stirling Crescent, Holme Wood, Bradford, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court last Friday charged with attempted murder before Mr Selby died several hours later.
Three other men who have been arrested in connection with the attack remain on bail pending further inquiries.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
