A survey has revealed that 79 public footpaths across Keighley are illegally blocked.
Keighley Ramblers surveyed more than 230 miles of footpaths in the summer and found some had been deliberately blocked by landowners and more than 60 green public footpath signs were missing.
The survey covered paths throughout the three Bradford Council wards in Keighley, plus Worth Valley and Craven.
Keighley Ramblers secretary and walks organiser Alex Gardner, a 67-year-old retired council highways worker, said the issue had been raised with the local authority.
