Visitors to Bradford's Centenary Square on Saturday were greeted by Bradford Science Festival’s Family Day with giant spiders and snakes among the popular attractions.
Tents lined the square and exhibitors included Thackray Museum who painted gruesome looking wounds on children, a CSI Crimescene Challenge and circus skills workshops.
Festival director Holly Macgrego said: “It’s gone really, really, really well and the footfall has been fantastic. We weren’t sure how it was going to work out, but it’s been the best possible scenario.”
