Two Liversedge schools have been given new bike shelters to encourage their pupils to cycle to class.
Kirklees Council has installed the shelters at Norristhorpe J&I School and Roberttown CE J&I School, where pupils have completed Bikeability Cycle Training.
They have been funded through the Congestion Performance Fund and Sustrans.
Coun Cathy Scott, cabinet member for streetscene and housing, said: “The shelters will help to encourage children to cycle to school and lead a healthy lifestyle by providing a storage solution for their bikes. This will help ease congestion on our roads at school drop-off and pick up times.”
