A drama company will be staging a show about road safety.
Bradford Council’s road safety team has commissioned Tiny Giants Theatre Company to present performances and workshops to Year Seven students, aged 11 and 12.
The play is set in a courtroom and flashes back to moments in the lives of a group of young people, eventually leading up to the death of a boy. Pupils are asked to act as jury and decide whether the driver is guilty or not guilty.
Councillor Val Slater, Bradford Council's executive member for transport, said: “We must do all we can to reduce the number of casualties to this vulnerable group.
“Each and every one of these incidents has caused tragedy, heartache, pain, loss and untold suffering.”
