A Bradford-based faith school has been judged by Ofsted to be good.
Bradford Christian School was inspected by Ofsted, the Government organisation responsible for overseeing school standards, just before the end of the summer term.
The general effectiveness of the school was judged to be ‘good’.
The verdict comes at a time when many schools are facing more gruelling inspections as standards are raised.
Phill Moon, head teacher of the school, said: “Given the current trend towards more exacting inspections, to achieve a ‘good’ was a real encouragement for staff, governing body and our parents.
“We’re absolutely delighted and we want to pay tribute to our dedicated and talented staff who deliver effective faith-based education week in, week out. We would also like to thank our students who took ownership as they helped us host the inspection team as well as our parents who made their thoughts clear about the school in the questionnaire.”
