Bantams’ boss Phil Parkinson has put his weight behind a campaign to raise awareness of prostate cancer.
Prostate Cancer UK has started its Men United v Prostate Cancer campaign and is urging people to dig deep during a collection at Bradford City’s home league game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, October 26.
Parkinson said: “Not only will we have our sights set on picking up three points come 90 minutes of play against Wolverhampton on October 26, this is Men United v Prostate Cancer and it’s a game we can’t afford to lose. Our home match will raise awareness of prostate cancer, and the players and I urge fans to give generously to Prostate Cancer UK volunteers on the day. We know men need to wake up to prostate cancer and give a good fight, that’s why we are all behind this movement for men’s health.”
