Rumours of a rail disaster in Haworth tonight have been quashed - firefighters were just training.
Worried passers-by saw bodies being pulled from a flaming train carriage on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway - but fortunately they turned out to be dummies.
A fire service spokesman said fire crews from Keighley, Bingley, Illingworth and Haworth stations were carrying out training exercises for a railway incident scenario. The exercise was due to finish at 9pm.
