There was a surge in vehicle crime in Queensbury over a seven-day period, police figures revealed. Between October 5 and October 11, there were five reports of vehicles being targeted.
One incident saw a red Nissan Juke stolen from outside a house on Fleet Lane after burglars broke into the property. The vehicle, reg number YC62 DWD, is still missing.
Money was stolen from a taxi on Digley Avenue at Clayton Heights, and a mobile phone was taken from a car on Adwalton Grove, Queensbury.
Two vehicles parked on Hillcrest Road had there hubcaps stolen.
