The Bradford Metropolitan Foodbank has appealed for religious organisations to donate food for those in need.
The foodbank is currently distributing more than 700 food parcels a month to families and individuals in need.
Founder Lashman Singh said: “With religious festivals such as Eid, Divali and harvest festivals coming up, it would be a good time to remember those less fortunate. We are in desperate need of non-perishable food and staples like sugar, tea, coffee, pasta, pasta sauce and cereal.”
To donate, call Keith Thomson on (01274) 542672 or visit bradfordfoodbank.com.
