A 22-year-old man has been warned by police that he could have his bike seized if he’s seen driving it in an anti-social manner.
Officers issued a second section 59 warning to the man during an operation in Scholemoor today, which means if he is seen causing trouble on his bike within the next 12 months, it will be taken.
A spokesman said: “These bikes are causing a nuisance to members of the public by their loud noises as well as being dangerous due to the speeds they can achieve and the way they are driven.
“We are committed to driving out this problem and encourage the public to report these matter to us.”
