Former Catatonia frontwoman Cerys Matthews will be presenting a very different side of her music live in Otley this winter.
The award-winning singer-songwriter, presenter and author is promising a "festive feast of carols, stories and sing-along classics" when she performs at Otley Courthouse on Wed-nesday, December 4.
The 8pm show is part of her Hook, Line And Carol Singing tour and will include conversation and anecdotes along with a host of classic tunes ranging from the 14th Century to the present day.
The tour bookmarks an incredibly busy year for the Welsh star, during which she has won a gold at the Sony Radio Academy
Awards for her Sunday morning show on BBC 6 and her sing-along book, Hook, Line And Singer, became a Sunday Times bestseller.
In August Cerys also made her debut performance in the BBC Proms, when she joined an eclectic lineup in the Royal Albert Hall that included Laura Marling, The Stranglers, and the London Sinfonietta.
Tickets for her Otley show cost £21.50 and can be booked by
