Major efforts will be made to get schoolchildren using Keighley's new £150,000 cycling route.
Two of the town's secondary schools have pledged to support the proposed route linking Stockbridge and Beechliffe.
University Keighley Academy and Holy Family School will encourage more students to ride to school.
Schools will work with Bradford Council on bike initiatives, and students will receive cycle training.
Earlier this year the council was awarded £150,000 from the Department for Trans-port to develop the route, which will enable cyclists to avoid hard Ings Road, part of Bradford Road, and three of Keighley’s busiest roundabouts.
