Sixty children from Westbourne Primary School in Manningham found out what it’s like to be a police officer.
The youngsters spent a morning at nearby Lawcroft House police station where they got to try out handcuffs, visit the custody area, and test the sirens on police cars.
They also had a question-and-answer session, and were told how they could join the police and how to keep their homes safe from burglars.
A police spokesman said: “The children had a really fun time, and so did the staff.”
