The Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Radio is in Bradford tomorrow evening featuring pieces by Tchaikovsky, Rimsky Korsakov and Rachmaninov.
The orchestra, which has a history dating back to 1930, will be led by the young conductor Denis Lotoev who is recognised as one of Russia's most promising young artists.
They will be playing Tchaikovsky's lyrical Souvenir de Florence and Rimsky Korsakov’s passionate evocation of A Thousand and One Nights, Scheherazade and Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.
The violin virtuoso in the Rachmaninov piece is Andrei Korobeinikiv.
