The Aire Valley Singers’ next concert is billed as a celebration of music with a royal theme.
The concert, at St Paul’s Church, Shipley, on Saturday, October 19, features the Coronation Mass by Mozart, with soloists from the choir. It will also include music by Benjamin Britten, whose centenary the Singers are marking this year, Paul Maelor, Handel and an opportunity to join in with Parry’s anthem I Was Glad. The organist will be Simon Earl from Wakefield Cathedral.
Tickets are available on the door. For details, visit airevalleysingers.com.
