A Bradford man who died following a three-vehicle crash in North Yorkshire has been named by police.
Shahid Saleem, 38, of Allerton Road, Allerton, suffered serious injuries in the collision, which happened on September 17. He died two days later at Preston Royal Infirmary.
Mr Saleem was a passenger in a Volkswagen Passat that was in a head-on collision with an Audi A4 estate and a Skoda Fabia on the A65 at Newby.
Two other passengers in the Passat were injured, as was the Audi driver. The two people in the Skoda, from Low Bentham in North Yorkshire, suffered serious injuries.
An inquest into Mr Saleem’s death was opened by Skipton coroner Robert Turnball at Skipton Magistrates Court.
