Diplomats seeking Britain’s brightest graduates as future representatives for the nation were at Bradford University.
Foreign and Common-wealth Office staff were there to launch its recruitment campaign for the Graduate Fast Stream programme.
Hugh Elliott, director of engagement and communications at the Foreign Office, said: “The Foreign Office has a huge amount to offer talented graduates.
“Our work is exciting and challenging. We offer a career with a difference, giving a unique chance to make a positive difference to this country and internationally.
“Over the summer, Foreign Office staff helped Britons caught up in the aftermath of the attack on the Westgate Mall in Nairobi, we supported the people of Gibraltar and we helped British business to secure contracts all over the world.”
