A Bradford mosque has applied for permission to demolish its existing ablution area and replace it with a ladies’ hall.
The hall would be built at the rear of the Dar Ul Lamon Mosque at 92 Lapage Street, with a new ablution area created in the basement.
The planning application says: “We believe that the creation of a ladies’ hall will encourage and enable more female service users.
“The hall will offer the same activities as does the existing hall at the same operating hours.”
