The judges will be seeking to identify the business which has made the greatest contribution to the local economy – or has been the most innovative – in the fields of environment, health and social care.
Park House Healthcare
Founded in 1984, Park House Healthcare Ltd (PHH) is recognised as a market-leading supplier of pressure area care equipment, specialist beds and moving and handling solutions to the NHS, community and nursing home sectors.
Inn Churches
Inn Churches provides accommodation in the winter months for the homeless. As a charity, it relies on charitable donations and fundraising activities. This winter the project provided 1,420 bed spaces over winter for 75 individual people.
Aqua Clinic
The Aqua Clinic is a versatile exercise and therapy pool for use by the community of Bradford district. It is 9.5m long and 4.5m wide and the depth varies from 3.25m to 1.2m. The pool has built-in resistance swim, training jets, wave machines and a water therapy unit. It is used for health and wellbeing activities by a range of user groups
