Two more Keighley men have been interviewed by police following an investigation by a London-based anti-fraud team.
On April 23 the City of London Police’s Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department carried out raids at several properties in Keighley in relation to suspected contrived collision fraud, which can include “crash for cash” insurance claims.
Four men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and money laundering, and a woman was arrested on conspiracy to defraud.
Investigations are ongoing, and another two people were questioned in relation to the case late last month, it emerged yesterday.
On May 24 a man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and another questioned under police caution. Both are in their 20s and from Keighley.
