Plans to turn a former carpet showroom in Burley-in-Wharfedale into a Co-op convenience store have been opened up for public consultation.
The Co-operative Estates is seeking permission from Bradford Council for external alterations and the installation of a cash machine at the former Otley Carpet Mills premises on Main Street.
The neighbour consultation period opened on Monday and is due to run until June 24.
The Co-op previously attempted to gain permission for a scheme which would see it move from its current cramped Station Road premises into an extended Burley Library, on Grange Road.
But the plans were turned down by Bradford Council.
No change of use permission will be required for the Main Street premises, as the building has permission for retail use.
